[DM-MUG] Charity needs Mac for DVD project

Hi,

A friend of mine (Carmen Lampe Zeitler) is director of Children and 
Families Urban Ministries(based in the basement of Trinity UM Church 
at 9th and College)., They have a very vibrant program for children, 
youth and families in an impoverished area, and one of the 
groups--girls-- wants to do a project with movies, talk and still 
pictures. They then want to burn DVDs of the project. They have been 
told that they really need a Mac to do the project. Free or low cost 
will be needed plus new enough to either burn DVDs or I could loan 
them my firewire DVD burner. They could also use some help in the 
transfer to the computer and the final steps. I could do some of it 
but most of it is beyond my present capability.

treasurer for several years and still contribute money.

CFUM serves breakfast to children in the area(60-80?), supper to all 
who come in the evening (last night in the middle of their dinner 
they had over 50 and some had left and others were coming). Churches 
of several denominations serve the meals. They have several after 
school programs to help the children of the neighborhood.  They are 
doing a lot of good for those who need it.
