[DM-MUG] iMovie titles on individual pictures

As usual when dealing with software I didn't write I am frustrated. I 
would like to use iMovie HD to create a slide show and burn it to a 
DVD for use on the TV. Ideal would be if the photo used it's name for 
a title at the bottom of the image. Otherwise I would like to add a 
title to each slide. When I type in a title and drag it to a picture 
in the show it shows up in all the pictures instead of just the one. 
I keep reading the instructions and they don't work as I interpret 
the help to tell me to do.
