[DM-MUG] burning cds

I've never had to change anything before to get a CD to read on a
Windows PC. I just create a burn folder and it just works, but you
can always try creating a disk image first. Try these steps:

What you need to do (if you continue to use Disk Utility) is create a
new image using the new image button, select CD-ROM (74 or 80 min),
and then let it create it. Once it is done creating it, it will
mount your disk image for you. Still in Disk Utility, click on your
DMG file and select the Partition tab. Click on the Options button
and change the drop-down to read PC Partition Scheme. Click OK and
back on the Partition tab, you should see MS-DOS File System as the
Format. Click on the Partition button and it will re-partition the
disk image. Once it is done, you will have a FAT32 disk partition.
Now, when you burn the disc, Disk Utility should use the Joliet CD-
ROM file system as opposed to the Mac's HFS+ file system and it
should work for you.

Hope this helps.
