[Cialug] OT: USB Issues

This PC is the same, no speaker. But the MB has a header, so I dug out a
speaker from an old PC. I hear some clicks when it powers up, but no beeps.
I don’t see an LED display. The power LED blinks when holding the power
button, but it never powers down. Gotta flip the PSU switch. I could get a
new MB cheap, NewEgg has it on sale. But if it’s the processor, I’d
probably switch to Intel instead of AMD.
This is the MB I have:
https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-b450m-ds3h-wifi/p/N82E16813145164?Item=N82E16813145164&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-13-145-164-_-06132022

I’ll try a different PSU. I tried this last year when I was trying to
figure out the noise coming from the USB powered speakers. That turned out
to be a fried speaker, 1 of the 3 devices that were connected. Video
capture, and external hard drive were the others. I still don’t understand
how there wasn’t damage to the MB, when 3 of the 5 devices that were
connected, got fried.
