[Cialug] XFS & rsnapshot

A large XFS volume is updated daily with rsnapshot incrementals, ..
running for about three years so far with no issues. About 60% used on a
7T volume.

Recently it started throwing "cannot delete" rsnapshot errors, which
traced to "file system dirty" on the partition for that snapshot.

It takes forever to check the partition, has anyone ever seen a problem
such as this? Ways to avoid? Speedup checking?
