[Cialug] NTFS in hiberhated state

Trying to recover data from a laptop drive that appears to have survive
the fire at my friend's house, .. put in a desiccant container for a week
and it seems to have survived.

Unfortunately, the partition is in a 'unsafe' state, and cannot be
mounted. As there is no laptop to 'resume and shutdown' that image, does
anyone have experience with clearing the hibernate/suspend data to recover
the files?
