[Cialug] nagios contactgroup by timeperiod

that could work, it's kind of annoying to duplicate stuff, but I'm sure it's much harder to program the ability to permute all these combinations on the nagios side

I'm using OMD which is a similar rollup of nagios/nagvis/icinga/thruk/livestatus/etc.  it uses check_mk, which automates a lot of stuff, but a few of the integrations with nagios are problematic
