[Cialug] good linux distro for web dev?

I ran Rhel ws and various versions of Centos for nearly ten years as
my primary OS up until about two (3?) years ago. I then switched to
Windows 7 as the primary (host) OS. The reason? Simplicity and
lazyiness. It was much easier to run the windows applications I needed
to run on windows and then virtualize the Linux machines. Why? No
hassles or any weird incompatibilities, No wasted time trying figure
out some obscure bug or trying to find a work around for something
that doesn't work.

Ram, CPU and disk space is cheap nowadays, so "wasting" resources
running windows is a mute point.

Its bittersweet to see how stable and hassle free W7 has been.
