[Cialug] Corrupt BIOS - fixable?

Looks like the reset process for the Optiplex 740 is:

Power off and unplug
Press/hold power button - 15 seconds
Remove motherboard battery
Press/hold power button - 30 seconds
Reinstall the battery
Boot with only monitor and keyboard attached

If that doesn't work, you're looking at unsoldering the BIOS chip to
reflash it or, more likely, getting a replacement motherboard from
eBay.
