this just came over from omaha, it's 5 by default, but there's an addon:

<<<<
FYI-

I got a Synology DS1511+ a few weeks ago and it's AWESOME! (
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GKLT4G )

It's the smallest 5-spindle server I can imagine. And under the hood, it's
just a (slightly funky) linux box.

I'm disappointed with the 5-bay addon (DX510
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DTLXKG) because it's really slow
compared to the primary 5.

But now I have a 10-disk 12TB raided NAS that does a whole lot of cool
stuff, using a great web interface, and I can inspect its internals like any
other linux server.

And it's small enough that my cat has trouble lying on it comfortably...
