Why is vim on cygwin so wonky? For example, 'i' for insert mode doesn't do what I expect it to do. Then even when I do manage to get into insert mode a backspace doesn't delete the preceding character and move the cursor. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm not even quite sure how to describe what's going wrong. -- Todd
