Looking for a remote file sharing solution that is simpler than a VPN 
client [only sharing three or four files amongst a non-profit board], 
.. and it seems like WebDAV might be an option?

When davfs2 mounts the directory, does provide a lock on a file to 
prevent simultaneous access?
