[Cialug] ulimit per executable (not process)

A few times now flash in firefox goes bonkers and basically does
while(1) {malloc()}.  Maxes memory, maxes swap, then trashes about
until 5 minutes later I get `killall -9 firefox` executed or hit the
power button.

Is there a way to ulimit all processes for an executable by default?
Say, ulimit -m 800000 `which firefox` or something.

Or any general thoughts on the subject.  KDE 4.3 if that matters.
