It's the nature of cable internet...  There's lots of downstream
bandwidth but not very much upstream bandwidth.  Which corresponds
with how most residential and small business customers use the
internet anyway.  If you really need a lot of upstream bandwidth
you'll probably need to check into a Metro Ethernet circuit.  There
are several providers locally that offer such services :).
