GD allows online editing of a documents, spreadsheets, presentations, 
.. an 'app' would have to be executable on the local machine while 
the cloud provides a locking mechanism to prevent a 2nd user from 
opening the same file at the same time.

Dropbox is *almost* usable, but it won't lock files to prevent a 
second user from opening the same file. When that happens, DB just 
records both revisions of the file, with one showing 'conflicted' to 
indicate that there are disparate versions.

Might have to end up with a VM & VNC, .. a possibility, but something 
cloud based would be a LOT simpler.
