Anyone have a line on a laptop that will reliably run off of 12 volts. Most
laptops now days are requiring 17-19 volts in order to properly charge the
battery pack. I would just as soon as not use an inverter due to the extra
draw that it uses in the conversion.

Somebody told me to leave the battery out and it will run, but my current
laptop, a Fujitsu, won't even turn on if the battery is not in.
