I suppose I just dated myself.  I nearly fell out of my chair at the 3.5GB thing, but I suppose you have a point about
that being trivial these days.  Still though, I've always been one to preach not installing something until you know
need it.  Today's package manager utilities make finding what you need and installing it trivial.  Even from the command
line.
