ZFS, the Sun Microsystems-created file system providing simple
administration, transactional semantics, end-to-end data integrity,
and significant scalability.

Guests: Aaron Newcomb and David Brittle for ZFS

Aaron Newcomb's day job is being the Solutions Development Manager for
Open Storage at Sun Microsystems. Open Storage refers to storage
systems that are built with open source software like ZFS, open
standards and open architecture. ZFS is a major component in each the
systems that Aaron works with. When he is not working for Sun, Aaron
is the host and producer of "the_source," a video podcast about all
things related to open source software. The podcast is produced
entirely with open source software, including Cinelerra (the open
source video editor), GIMP, and Audacity.

David Brittle's day job is being a software development manager for
Sun Microsystems as. He has brought to market projects including NFS
v4 and IETF development effort requiring open development, directed
Connectathon (an IETF testing environment), and his latest product,
ZFS.
