I love how the Ankeny library has an RSS feed of the new DVDs. I simply
subscribe to the feed and always know what new DVDs are available.

I've found the BookBurro Firefox extension http://bookburro.org/ to be
useful. If I'm viewing a book on Amazon it will automatically search for
the book in local libraries. This has saved me from times when I was
about to buy a book but found that I can check it out for free at the
library.
