[Cialug] Compaq Laptop Unlock

Does anyone know where I can get the tool (or at least the output of  
the tool) needed to unlock an HP/Compaq Presario C500 with an unknown  
BIOS password, or do I have to send this thing to HP and have them do  
it?

As I understand it there's no amount of jumper or battery fiddling I  
can do to reset the password, but there's supposed to be a tool that  
generates a backdoor password based on a device-specific parameter.
