The benefit of this space (or one like it) is that for example -

Imagine a husband/father who is a technical enthusiast. Saturday is
family day but they're really interested in coming. If its at the
library he can bring the kids and/or wife with him and they won't be
standing around twiddling thumbs wondering when it'll be done.

As an option, I wonder if there would be an opportunity to partner
with a business who could benefit from the attention. For example,
borders books probably makes a respectable amount of money from OSS
enthusiasts and maybe they'd be willing to cover incidental
promotional costs that featured their logo and address (assuming we
had the event at their location). Doing something like this could
extend the reach to beyond 20 people and could be a win-win situation.
Or maybe B&N in Jordan creek would have the opportunity to procure
floor space in the mall for such an event.

Also, what other local user groups are there who would be willing to
coordinate efforts?
