[Cialug] OT: Choose the lesser evil? Save XP?

Infoworld has some information and a petition to save Windows XP.  Don't
know if it will do a lick of good, but I signed it.  

We have and use XP at work, and Vista really doesn't add anything very
useful - save disk encryption - to the mix for its giant price tag.  Even
though we are already on the Microsoft Train on the Microsoft track I don't
want them to dictate when we have to pay to get to the next stop, or which
stop that is.  If that makes any sense.
