[Cialug] OT: LCD Displays

I've had good luck the ACER 22in AL2216W lcd.  They've got average
spec's, but look outstanding. I use ATI 9200 and 9500 vid's cards and
run them at their native resolution. I've got 3 of them, one was a
refurb, and two I bought new from newegg.

Pick out your display, and check prices on froogle.  I might also
recommend that you look at some you're interested in person before you
buy one.

I've found that you really can't buy an LCD display or TV by its spec's
alone. Sometimes the ones with the best spec's don't look as good at the
ones with just "good" specs. If you look at'em in person, you won't be
disappointed, when it arrives at your door.
