I used to do a lot more dual booting (e.g., I used to play games on
WinXP), but last time I tried it (few years ago), the ext2/ext3
drivers for windows were pretty unstable for me.  And so far I've
always felt NTFS write support under Linux to be a risk at best, so I
ended up with a wasteful VFAT partition for transferring files from
Linux to the Windows side of things.

I take it from your commentary here that the win32 ext3 drivers are
working out well for you?  Do you _really_ trust it, or do you perhaps
end up doing tune2fs for some extra fscks just to be safe?  ;-)
