Absolutely, if I was in one of those industries, I'd be more concerned. 
But I also assume that they have hired people like us that have checked 
the systems and applied patches as needed.

I'll admit, I'm one of those programmers that has developed DST logic for 
a project I was working on.   It was for a good reason, I couldn't rely on 
the OS.   Set your OS to use GMT and ask it if DST is set.   GMT doesn't 
care about daylight savings time.

The thing that is cracking me up about the new DST change is how last 
minute everything is.  We've known about this for at least 18 months now 
but it has only been in the last 1-2 months that vendors are actually 
releasing the proper patches for it.
