Interesting site.  I see they offer the same model as my broken unit (Hughes HDVR2) minus the hard drives so tonight I'll try mounting the drives to ensure they work and, if so, I can buy just that and save a mint.

That last storm killed my wifes Tivo unit.  She insists on Tivo so I guess
I'll be picking one up here in the next day or two.  We had a Hughes Series
2 Tivo that was pretty solid but I'd be interested to know what some of you
might recommend.  No, we aren't on HD (yet).
