[Cialug] Free hardware

I have 3 computers and a SCSI subsystem that i'm wanting to get rid of.
I've wiped all the drives and done a fresh install of Xubuntu on the
computers just so that it is obvious that they are in working order:

I have two Dell OptiPlex GX100 machines. They have some sort of Celeron
processor, 128 MB RAM and 8 GB hard drives. Plus the usual accessories:
sound, ethernet, DVD drive, etc.

I also have 1 home built machine. It is a dual PII-450 with 512 MB RAM
(ECC, if i recall correctly), 20 GB HD, CD drive, ethernet. No sound
card. This machine was my web server for quite a few years and never
had any problems. My main computer is actually a copy of this machine
but with a newer hard drive, marginally better graphics, DVD+/-RW, and
a sound card. It isn't bad for regular desktop use if when surfing the
web you use a browser that can filter out animated ads and Flash.

I also have an Adaptec 2940UW SCSI card, 3 SCSI hard drives, and a SCSI
CD-RW drive if anyone wants them. One of the drives was a freebie that
i've never used, it is either 4.5 or 9 GB. The other 2 are a 9 and an
18 GB that i had in service for several years without any problems. A
few months ago i pulled them out of my main machine and switched to a
larger SATA hard drive. These drives still work perfectly though. I'll
include all necessary cabling, and i know Linux supports the Adaptec
card perfectly so it would be very easy to reuse this stuff.

As usual when i get rid of stuff, first person to actually haul it away
gets it. Please contact me by e-mail or phone if interested. My work
phone number is in the SIG; i'm usually there from roughly 8:00-16:30
on weekdays.
