One of Ubuntu's goals is to make it easy to create derivative
distributions from it. People have been doing it like crazy, there's
Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Edubuntu, Ubuntu Christmas Edition, 2 different Ubuntu
Christian Editions, Ubuntu Satanic Edition, fluxbuntu... so many to
choose from.

If you want a truly custom Linux, i.e. you want your own distro, have
