[Cialug] crazy cable modem speeds

Yes. I got an email (and snail mail!) notice 2 weeks ago that I apparently 
need to trade in my cable modem for the higher level. The 'normal' level is 
supposed to be 8Mbs/512Kbs now. The 'Mediacom Max' level will apparently 
move up to 15Mbs/1Mbs sometime soon.
I've yet to trade the modem in, because I don't want to hand over my trusty 
(..as cable modems go...) Motorola only to be handed a flakey %&^* RCA in 
return. My question to any Mediacom employees on the list is; What modems 
are you guys handing out now?
