[Cialug] X11 Color Issues

I've had this issue for a while, but basically, I can't open any tk programs 
or emacs (Xaw3d I believe).  I get errors like:
TclError: unknown color name "red"
[devel at rachelanne ~]$ emacs
Undefined color: "black"

The rgb.txt in my xorg.conf seems to be correct.
