[Cialug] AMD Athlon XP supplies may be drying up

I think I need to clarify my original e-mail. The Sempron processor is a 32 bit
processor. There are two socket styles for the Sempron: The Socket A style, and
the Socket 754 style. The Socket A style is going away, including Semprons.

Socket 754 motherboards are supposed to handle both the 32-bit Sempron, and the
64-bit Athlon64. But as always, double check with the board manufacturer.

Of course, AMD is supposed to announce Socket M2 next year.
