There seems to be some work being done by carnegie Mellon I think.  voice
recognition and text to speech and OpenSALT and VXML.

I don't think there are any "products" available.  I was looking at it in
terms of something to read e-mail over the phone and recognize voice
commands.  "next message" , Stop, reply" etc.

Were you looking to recognize or truly transcribe?
