[Cialug] Poor man's hot-swappable hard drive

SATA might; my experiences were with regular ATA. I probably should 
have mentioned that.

As far as other bus types, i've read reports from engineers that say 
you can hot swap SCSI, even though the spec doesn't allow it. You juave 
have to make sure to push the connectors on very straight so all pins 
connect simultaneously.

I do like the hot-swappability (is that a word? perhaps swappypootivity 
would work as well) of USB and Firewire. I've been using those 
interfaces on Macs for awhile.
