[Cialug] Mandriva & Drivers

Don't know about the drivers... but from what I've read, on board IDE 
RAID is kind of a waste of time, as it isn't really a hardware RAID like 
a dedicated RAID controller card, and most people recommend using the 
Linux software RAID, because you actually get better performance that way.

It is really easy to set up a Linux software RAID using the Mandriva 
graphical disk partitioning tool during install. Not too bad using 
Debian either.
