I think my suggestion got bounced due to the list server being down.

I would not mind seeing an "installing Gentoo for Redhat dummies"
kind-of-thing.

It seems a lot of people are really taking to Gentoo both in this group and
elsewhere.  Gentoo seems to have some momentum behind it.  I can probably
volunteer a machine and disks if somebody could show what it's all about.
