Well, I think that indirect manipulation is unnatural no matter which way
you're scrolling. :-) Therefore the problem won't be the people being
exposed to the computer for the first time, it'll be the people who have
been using it for a while and are already used to it being a certain way.
The new way breaks Warsaw's four law [1] for the huge number of existing
users. I try to justify it being the way it is now by visualizing that what
I'm moving is the scrollbar, not the actual document. :-) Swipe/wheel down
and the scroll bar moves down.
