Far as I know, Office 2011 should be fine. I think the list that Bailing Ford posted will probably answer your questions better than I can. A lot depends on what apps you regularly use and what you don't.
Thanks,
Stuart

Any other thoughts I need to look for? I pretty much stick with iLife programs, Office 11 (which I went to because I couldn't print the older version on my newer printer).....

If I paid attention to it, I would have remembered that, but it has been something I have used so often that I didn't pay attention to it. When the articles recommended I look at About this Mac under Applications first to identify all PowerPC applications first, I found that out. So now, I am taking a closer look to make sure that I don't have any legacy apps that will mess up my workflow. If you have only been on Intel, it should not affect you, but my first Mac laptop was a G4 under 10.3, so I have a number of older apps that are still PowerPC.

More than likely, I will just try to use a combination of LibreOffice and iWork to take the place of MS Office 2004. We'll see. :)
