[DM-MUG] Is there any way to totally delete everything ref iCall off my computer?

I noticed [this is about 2 weeks ago but I've been out of town and am
now back and trying to deal with the issue] that the master iCal [on
the MacPro] had gobs of duplicate entries. I used a couple of
different pieces of software to delete them = they reappeared. Even
doing it by hand didn't prevent things from coing back.
I finally stopped syncing the iCal on the MacPro entirely and have
been using my MacbookPro copy and my iPhone copy, but those are not
optimal. I did get in touch with Apple/Applecare and have a case
number and per request did a Capture Data thing [it's an app which
runs, captures data and sends it to Apple for engineer review] and
that was two weeks ago = I have heard nothing since despite
contacting the guy with case number 2x today.
In the meantime, I'm thinking if I can delete all iCal stuff
entirely, that might help fix the problem - I could reinstall iCal
and then bring in a 'clean' copy from the MacBookPro= or maybe I'm
not understanding what may be happening. [I have already deleted the
prefs and other com.apple things ref iCal in the Library - nothing
has cured the problem.
Is iCal part of a user or is it root and part of the system itself?
Would I have to wipe out the whole OSX and reinstall OSX? [I did do
a reinstall in early fall but then did a migration back so might have
brought back bad stuff = I assume I'd have to really start fresh if I
did it this time] Or is it possible to go in and delete all the iCal
and then go in via the install disks and reinstall iCal fresh?
Any other thoughts while I work on this til I hear back from Apple.
