[DM-MUG] black marks on laser output

I had a similar problem with an HP 1518 laser, its a $300 printer so  
not high end not low end.  If I use very cheap paper, I get residual  
marks on the second, third, etc pages, a kind of ghost image like the  
paper didnt suck up all the toner. If I get a mid range priced paper I  
dont have the problem.  I dont know if it is exactly the same thing  
you are getting.  I have another thing with this printer.  In January  
it told me I was running low on black toner.  By feb it said I had 1%  
or 8 pages left.  I use it for business and print at least a dozen  
pages every day, sometimes many more.  I still have the same cartridge  
in the machine.  If I look at the control panel it says "replace black  
cartridge, 1% toner, 8 pages left".  I'm still waiting for it to print  
a faded page or stop working.  Any ideas on how long
this magic toner will last?  Good luck, Chris
