Aaron, if you're a lawyer you should join MacLaw list because this is 
a big topic there.
I have the S300m and the S1500m ScanSnap [great machines] and use 
them with the Acrobat software that comes with them.

As for document management there are all sorts of options.  Depends 
on what you need and all that.  I have DevonThink, Yep, Leap etc. but 
still tend to use the finder...this year may be the one that I check 
them out.  So, let us know more.

As far as cloud= Evernote is good but again, I don't think it's 'the' 
answer....I've used it too but stopped because my iPhone couldn't 
access the data without wifi running.  Dropbox is what I use now.
