None of the links came through but the brief summary makes it clear in my
opinion.

In a related note I found that most of the screensavers I've tested actually
cause a computer to use more electricity when idle than they commonly do
while being used.

I've adopted the policy of simply turning the screen savers off and causing
the screen to go black or turn off instead.
