I don't have an Airport, extreme or not, but I have had similar experience with a wireless. First, make sure you don't have a 900MHz phone around the area. Second, my power supply died on the wireless. I happened to have a replacement and it has worked perfectly since I switched. Could be the power supply.

Good Morning,
I have the last version of the Airport Extreme and I am having issues with the wireless connection just dropping off and after a few it will just connect and work for a while and then disconnect again. I contacted Mediacom on the cable modem thinking it could be that and everything looks great on that end. I then reboot the Extreme and it will work for about a hour or so and go right back dropping connections. I have never had any issues in the past and this just started about a month ago. I have a newer Mac Mini connected to it as well as a older MacBook and a three year old Windows XP box.
Does it look like I will have to replace it? I do have the logs if anyone knows how to read that sort of stuff. I looked at them, but I am not well verse in the Mac aspects of networking, since my work only uses Windows and that is my bread and butter. Any advice would be great.
James Corbett
