Wow Matthew, as usual, great info for the list. I check it out, and this
guy has some great tutorials and info to share. There are other great
Youtube tutorials on film making/video techniques that are general in
nature and very helpful. It's addictive.
My best advice - a compelling story or information, or entertaining
content. When I made my little movie for the rockhounds (Des Moines
Lapidary Society) it was well received in spite of imperfections,
because it was what my audience wanted to see. (And they are nice folks
who appreciate any effort to share or entertain.)
And, digital is great because the film costs are low! So shoot lots and
use the best of what you get. Have fun!
