Hi, you're asking a big request, considering you want a free tool. I

Regarding posterous being reliable, I'm confident they're going to
make it for a while longer.

The thing to remember about Posterous is that they're focused on
making publishing simple. They've striped out some of the
customization capabilities (fewer options means simpler interface),
they've chosen middle ground between the super-basic micro-blogging
and more lengthy blogging tools. It's a special niche, make sure it's
what you want.
