[DM-MUG] updating boot support partitions

Hi, 

On my new iMac dual core running OS 10.6.4 I used Disk Utility to run "Verify Disk" and it had errors. After floundering around for a while I finally figured out that I needed a hardwired keyboard to select any startup keyboard options. I ended up using the install DVD and Disk Utility to repair the disk. It found and repaired the error but then had a message "Updating Boot support Partitioning for the volume is required" displayed. Googling this message didn't clarify what to do about it or whether I should ignore it. Before I call Apple is there any wisdom from the list?
