[DM-MUG] D-link and Mac installation

Usually you can set up a router by connecting via Ethernet. Open a browser (Safari, Firefox, etc) and type the router's IP address into the address bar: usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

I don't remember which is the default username / password combination for D-Link, but it's likely to be ...

admin / admin
admin / password
admin / [blank]

... or something similar. Try Googling "d-link default password" if you don't stumble onto it in a couple of tries.

From there it should be a pretty simple setup. Have your daughter call me if she's not able to get in. We can try some things on the phone, or I can come out and see her this week.
