All I tell you about is the one I have used - and it is a still camera 
with HD video capability. I love love love (rinse and repeat) this 
little bag of tricks.

It (S200HD) is a lot of fun but video is limited to 15 minutes on HD 
before it has to write to the card. It will quit after a longer time at 
620p. I download with a card reader for convenience, right to iPhoto.

(I think) do get a camera that takes a card (not Flip Mino) ( yes Kodak 
Zi8 - under $200.00) because you are not limited to internal memory, can 
switch out cards and keep shooting. There are a lot of tricks you can do 
with the little Kodak - see on You Tube.

Fuji has a new camera at $499.99 that I lust for terrible much. Also 
want . . . never mind. Endless list.

Have not used a straight movie camera so far, except for a pro video 
filming class I took back when dinosaurs were still with us (70s?).
