Jon Thompson posted this on 3/19 and there have only been a few
responses == the Q is whether people are willing to step up and
present for find presenters or topics or just want to meet and enjoy
socializing at Jon's place or Haddck or whatever - or even Impromptu
Studio. If no one wants to do anything other than the listserve and
a social gathering, fine, but we really should let people know the
plans - ie, that we have topic meetings or open/social meetings etc.
We could then just share what we want that nite or if someone has a
particular issue or concern to raise, they could let the list know
and those with answers could try to come?. We also need to update
the website so nonexistent meetings are not announced.
As long as we are still an Apple Certified MUG we can still benefit
from the various discounts etc. posted to the list. And I will keep
trying to score some freebies for distribution
We do have $80 left approx. from the dues contribs and we could use
that for swag gifts, beverages, etc.
