Where would you use it is the lst Q = what service area? If in
cities and parts of the E and W coast and overseas, then the ATT
service is great and seamless. If in more rural areas, maybe another
system. Just remember they all have issues with signal quality.
Here in the states it's much worse than overseas.

I love my iPhone = it basically does everything I want and more.
It's a phone but it also goes on the internet and handles my email.
The apps give you so much more flexibility.

Go to the ATT store and talk to the people there about the best deal
you can get. It's not cheap but it is worth it, even if coverage is
spotty from time to time = there was none in Clare IA [N of Fort
Dodge] and the countryside around, for instance.

The issue with buying a smart phone is to feel good about the system
and signal strength [I go overseas a fair amount and that's what's
good for me] and then consider the features of the phone. I have a
friend who got a Pre, but I know nothing more other than she wanted
to stick with Sprint.
