[DM-MUG] OS X 10.6 Initial Impression

can you copy the install files onto a USB drive and then use the USB drive  into the Air to install what you need?

I did that to install 10.4 on a g3 that only had a CD rom. I just put the dvd install disk in a computer with a dvd drive and then copied the install files to a USB drive and used the USB drive in the g3 to upgrade it. Good luck.
